BATMITZVAH SUPPORT PROJECTS FOR INTRA
The Gift that Keeps Giving We received a letter last year from one of our youngest supporters, Hanah Tanenholtz. With her love of horses and the joy of riding, Hanah wanted to help INTRA help others. Her loving letter speaks for itself: “Every year on Chanukah, my brother and I choose an organization to send our tzedakah money to. This year we chose to donate our money to INTRA. I will always stay connected to INTRA because I raised money for them for my Bat Mitzvah project. I raised $2,000 by selling chocolate lollipops to support a rider for one full year. I hope that one day I will be able to visit INTRA. The whole purpose of INTRA is so inspiring, and I am now motivated to work at a therapeutic riding center. I have been horseback riding since I was five years old, and I hope that one day I will be able to give people the joy and happiness I have gotten from horseback riding. I would really appreciate it if you used the money to help support a rider, just like I did for my Bat Mitzvah project. I am planning to raise enough money to support a rider again one day, because INTRA has helped me discover my love of helping people, and that I can do that by giving back to them all the amazing experiences I have had from Horseback riding over the years.” More recently we received this follow-up announcement from Hanah: “As a follow up to my Bat Mitzvah project, last weekend I held an event in honor of INTRA to raise more money. The event was very successful, and everybody had fun participating in it. I hope that my contribution will be able to help in any way possible.” We are extremely grateful to Hanah for her on-going support of INTRA that began at the time of her Bat Mitzvah with her hand-made chocolate horse lollipops, called “Hanah’s Healing Horses”. INTRA was a huge inspiration for her to get involved in community service, and she hopes that her efforts will be an inspiration to others. This month, INTRA thanks Sarah Jacobs from Westchester, NY who included fund raising for INTRA’s disabled riders as part of her Bat- Mitzvah celebration. We greatly appreciate the critical support that Sarah and her family and friends have provided INTRA. It just takes one person to reach out to another. We look forward to other young people following in the footsteps of Hanah and Sarah to support INTRA as part of their Bar or Bat Mitzvah project and beyond. To Donate to INTRA:

WORKSHOP WITH KATTI SIVAN: “RELEASE THE EMOTIONAL LOAD”
FRIDAY, JULY 2nd at INTRA
Katti, originally from Britain, trained and became an expert in horseback riding in the UK. After moving to Israel, marrying and having a family, she moved to southern Israel where she became interested in alternative medicine and the positive affects it has on horses and humans. She visited the USA where she became a master in horse equine sports massage, a Reiki Master/Teacher and practitioner, and a member of the Israeli Reiki Association. She has studied many forms of Reiki including Seichem, Karuna, Earth Angel and Traditional Reiki, and has developed an Animal Reiki Training/Practitioner program from Foundational to Advanced level. Katti also practices other forms of Natural Healing Therapies, including Past Life Regression, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), IPEC (Integrated Physical and Emotional Clearing), and Bach Flower Remedies. Most of these healing modalities can be adapted for the needs and healing of animals.
Sivan offers certification courses in Reiki on a group or personal basis, as well as teaches EFT to those who are interested in self-help and personal development, and who may have physical problems, or mental and emotional challenges.
She also offers training in "Holistic Riding" and “Horse Care” for horse owners and future owners, as well as for those wishing to apply for professional Riding Instructor Examinations by using more natural horse training methods of communication.
In her workshop Katti, will use psycho-energetic techniques to teach a people how to release their troubling emotions that have been caused by a traumatic event.
Her method is also effective in dealing with the issue of test anxieties, which can help reduce anxiety fears that cause students to fail exams. She will explain how her method releases stress and anxieties allowing the student to succeed and pass their exams.
The release of stress leads to a healthier way of life that changes people’s personal life perspectives and ultimately can have a positive collective effect on a community.
We hope that you can join us on Friday July 2nd at INTRA for this special workshop. To register, please contact us at:
